This was with Flight 5.  I've just tried again with Flight 6, fully updated as of yesterday, and the problem as I described doesn't occur.  The problem has changed, though.  Sometimes (after entering the administrator password perhaps 5 or 6 times) the buttons are below the edge of the window, and a scroll bar appears on the right side.  The size of the window now seems to stay the same.  After scrolling down to access the Administrator Mode button, and entering my password, the buttons resume their original position and the scroll bar disappears.

This is not a very important bug!
