[Bug 39388] Weird behaviour with typing colons in konqueror location bar

Description:
Running Kubuntu Dapper Kde 3.5.2 on PowerPC

Steps to reproduce: 
1. Type url in location bar (http://www.example.com)
2.  Go to start of location bar, by pressing <Home>
3. Delete the colon in http:// by pressing <Backspace> key
4. Try typing the colon again

At this point, the cursor moves to the end of the location bar.  (i.e.
after .com).

My webshortcut setting is set to (colon), but it is reproducible even
with the setting to space.
