[Bug 39268] Cannot post in newsgroups

Description:
I'm using KNode within Kontact, and I am unable to post in newsgroups because I get the following error message (translated from German):
"Please specify a valid e-mail address in the configuration dialog (on the page "identity")."
However, I have specified a valid mail address there.
