[Bug 39048] usb stick not recognised

Description:

lsusb freezes but lspci is fine

Possible related problem. When I insert an audio CD in the drive, I
immediately get the error message  "Invalid URL address"

Under /dev   ----   fb0 is shown as character device
                             fd0 is shown as block device
                             hdc is shown as block device
