Public bug reported:

Affects: kdelibs (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
KDE is crashing (up comes kde crash handler) on me when i try to
configure eth1 (wireless) in network settings. This is the drapper
flight 6 LIVE CD with kde 3.5.2.

"The application KDE Control Module (kcmshell) crashed and caused the
signal 11 (SIGSEGV)".

It goes into administrator mode fine, after clicking "configure
interface" under the Network Interfaces tab it crashes with the above
message on eth1.

However, if i do a sudo dhclient eth1, it no longer crashes when trying
to configure this interface. It never ever crashes when trying to
configure other interfaces eg. eth0 (wired) after boot.

Details and screenshots at:

Is this related in some way to bug #35581 ??
