This may be duplicate of bug 33173.
Can you start System Settings -> Printers and check in lower right corner of the dialog (just above "Administrator Mode" button) what the "Server:" is set to. It should read "localhost:631".
If you get /var/run/cups/cups.sock or similar, you should use workaround mentioned in bug 30431.
