Public bug reported:

Affects: kdebase (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
I propose to drop the patch kubuntu_36_hide_kjobviewer_menu_entry.diff
and thus make it possible to start the KDE print job viewer from the KDE
menu.

Now that bug #29648 is fixed in gnome-cups-manager, i.e. Gnome's
printing queue viewer appers no longer in the KDE menu, there is no way
currently under KDE to start a graphical printing queue viewer manually.

There are three use cases where I think that starting kjobviewer
manually makes sense.

1. Printing something without KDE's printing facility. In that case
kjobviewer is not started automatically. If you want to inspect the
printing queue you have to start it manually.

2. Looking at printing queues before actually starting some print job. I
do this sometimes in our lab to look for a printer with an empty print
queue if I need something printed fast.

3. kjobviewer was started automatically but I closed it again. Later I
want to look if a large print job is already finished without having to
go to the printer room.

This affects current Dapper Drake, kdebase version 3.5.2-0ubuntu5.

Thanks.
