Summary: PS/2 mouse pointer moving very slowly.
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: UNKNOWN
        AssignedTo: debzilla at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: euan.laing at gmail.com
         QAContact: kubuntu-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

Perhaps 50% of the time when I boot Kubuntu the mouse pointer will move very
slowly with no acceleration. This persists until I reboot which usually fixes
the issue. I can of course change the pointer acceleration in the mouse
settings but obviously this is far from ideal. The mouse in question is a
Microsoft Intellimouse. This problem only seems to occur when using PS/2
connecter for the mouse and not with USB. I am running latest breezy i386.
Mobo is Asus K8V SE Deluxe with AMD 64 3000+
