Summary: Kontact (well, kmail) crashes when deleting email from
                    an imap-ssl folder
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
               URL: http://www.hserus.net
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: kontact
        AssignedTo: debzilla at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: suresh at hserus.net
         QAContact: kubuntu-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
                CC: suresh at hserus.net

I recently switched to kmail from thunderbird to read email off an imaps folder (imap over ssl / port 993) on
a courier imap server.

Periodically, when I try to delete email from an imap folder, kontact (from which I run kmail) crashes with
SIGSEGV

This is ubuntu breezy, with an apt-get dist-upgrade as of a few hours back - but this persisted for several
days now (with various stages of breezy)

suresh at etherkiller 18:21:01 <~> $ dpkg -l|grep libqt

version), V

Noting a previous bug which says that libqt3c102-mt would cause this kind of crashing, and given that libqt3-
mt was already there, I did a dpkg --purge libqt3c102-mt to get rid of the old conf files that were left
behind from this deb.

No use after that either :(
