The Kubuntu installation process does not have a step for creating several accounts. They have 
to be created afterward with for example Kuser. 
 
A new user only belongs to its own group. To be usable, it should also be added to some other 
groups, I see at least audio, cdrom, floppy, scanner and video. A tooltip about the goal of 
each group would be much appreciated to help to select user groups. 
The installation process start with uid 1000 but Kuser with uid 500.
