Summary: Can't shutdown the computer by KDE frontend as **root**
                    password is required
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: kubuntu-desktop
        AssignedTo: debzilla at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: max at surfhtml.de
         QAContact: kubuntu-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

Hi,
when I want to shutdown my computer by using KDE (Logout -> Shutdown Computer),
KDE want's me to enter the root password. When I enter my password (as I always
do when e.g. using "sudo"), it isn't accepted. I guess, KDE want's the password
of user "root", which I do not know, of course.

When using the console and typing "sudo init 0", it works perfectly.

I searched the bug list and couldn't find this bug already submitted - sorry if
it's already existing!

Thanks for fixing it ;)
