Ubuntu | amarok

Summary: mp3s encoded by iTunes that have album art cause amarok
                    to crash
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: amarok
        AssignedTo: jriddell at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: tim at backspaces.net
         QAContact: kubuntu-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

Any of several mp3s I have encoded with iTunes, which contain album art, predictably cause amarok to crash. Once the album art has been stripped with
easytag, the problem no longer manifests itself. This occurs with every engine I've tried (gstreamer, arts, xine) and on both AMD and Intel processors, with
appropriate kernels. This does not happen on other, similar, linux OSes (kanotix), though there is a horrendous "squawk" at the beginning of each of these
mp3s when played. I'm submitting this not in the hopes of having this "bug" fixed, but in the hopes that it will give you some info to go on when looking at
other mp3 related bug-reports. I'd be happy to provide any information requested, as well as samples of mp3s which can cause this issue.
