No errors on the page, no Flash, no Java applets.

I can't offer any explanations. 
 
I've browsed this site many times on other browsers without this time 
problem.  Also, this is a constant problem, it is not a one-night traffic 
jam.  I'm on a 10 MB/sec connection.
