Ubuntu | kdm

Summary: prompt for x-session-manager during installation should
be a at a lower priority
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: kdm
        AssignedTo: jriddell at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: vbusam at google.com
         QAContact: kubuntu-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

(This is hoary, apologies if it's corrected in breezy)

When istalling kdm after gdm is installed, the user will always be prompted for
the default x-session-manager, even with debconf/priority=critical and the value
preseeded. I had to directly hack the debconf database to have
Name: shared/default-x-display-manager
Template: shared/default-x-display-manager
Value: gdm
Owners: gdm, kdm
Flags: seen
Variables:
 choices = gdm, kdm
to achieve an unattended installation.
