Kubuntu sometimes freezes ramdomly, with CPU usage at 100%. I also posted bug 10597,
stating that it also locks up specifically when I change the ACPI button settings,
perhaps this is related.

Also, I have noticed that sometimes, randomly, I will have a 100% CPU usage for a
while when nothing processor-intensive is running. I don't know if this is related,
perhaps it is a separate bug. I ran top when this occured last, and got this:

top - 03:12:26 up 7 min, 2 users, load average: 1.43, 0.75, 0.34

What I noticed (as a relative noob) was updatedb running, and 96% usage on I/O wait.
This usually goes on for about a minute, and then stopps with no ill effects.
