Summary: no "Home" entry in the K-menu
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Keywords: kubuntu
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P2
         Component: kubuntu-default-settings

It was reported on #kubuntu that there's no "Home" entry in the K-menu. A lot of
people like to have a "Home" icon in their panel which they can click on, that
opens a konqueror window in tree view with their home as the base (like if you
click on the panel icon "System" --> "Home Folder").

If it's not in K-menu it's not easy to add to the panel.

cut and pasted from irc:

08:28 < chakie_> you want to add konqueror back to the k-menu?
08:28 < delltony> yes
08:28 < delltony> where when i click on
08:28 < delltony> it opens home
08:29 < delltony> actually id like it on that little quick launcher panel actually
08:29 < delltony> but whichever works
08:30 < chakie_> well, you can at least right click on the panel, choose Add to
Panel->Application and then find "Home" or something similar
08:32 < delltony> its not there thats my point
08:32 < chakie_> oh, sorry
08:32 < chakie_> weird
