Ubuntu (kubuntu) | klaptopdaemon

Summary: KLaptop does not honour logout settings in kcontrol
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Keywords: kubuntu
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: klaptopdaemon
        AssignedTo: debzilla at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: karltk at gentoo.org
         QAContact: kubuntu-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

Right-clicking on the KLaptop icon on the menu back (kicker), I can select to
configure the behaviour of KLaptop. After configuring "System State Change" to
"None" for both "Low Battery Warning" and "Low Battery Critical", KDE still
terminates and logs me out when the battery reaches 5 minutes left.

I have tried logging in again, and even rebooting, to verify that these are
indeed the recorded settings. They are, but still KDE insists on logging me out
in a most unceremonious manner whenever the battery reaches 5 minutes left.
