This is an NFS issue, home directories on NFS require the correct locking to be
enabled.
nfs.lockd and nfs.statd must both be running on the client and server for it to
work.

If a user has previously used OO2, they need to remove the .oo2 direction from
their home and start again. This error will not correct itself unless NFS is
operating correctly when the user first starts openoffice2.
