Karm is supposed to detect when the desktop is idle and stop timing (or rather present a dialog allowing time 
to be reverted or continued). This option is on be default in most distros. With a fresh kubuntu 5.0.4 
installation (karm 1.5.0, kde 3.4.0) the "Detect desktop as idle after: " setting in Karm's preferences is 
disabled (greyed out, and cannot be ticked) and this feature is not available.
