Ubuntu (kubuntu) | kamera

Summary: Kamera is included in OS install, but gphoto2 is not
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Keywords: kubuntu
          Severity: trivial
          Priority: P5
         Component: kamera
        AssignedTo: debzilla at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: takis at iinet.net.au
         QAContact: kubuntu-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

I use a Canon A85 camera, plug it in and my Storage Media applet picks it up, I
can browse it and preview the pictures, but if I try to copy anything to my
computer the copy is stalled for a bit and then complains that the camera does
not exist. Looking at the Synaptic description for Kamera, it says that it uses
gphoto2. I installed that and everything worked fine. Maybe it should be
installed automatically with the OS?
