I have the same admin mode related problem.
Also, sometimes when I try to access User Manager (KUser) I get the following error after being
prompted for my password:
"There was an error setting up inter-process communications for KDE. The message returned by the
system was: Authenticon Rejected, reason: None of the authentication protocols specified are
supported and host-based authentication failed. Please check that the "dcopserver" program is
running!"
What happens next is I get access to User Manager as everything was working as it should -
strange! (and I have checked that the dcopserver program is running and I have even restarted
the server) Could this be related to the administrator mode problem?
