Like talked on IRC I'd help to help the kynaptic mantainer between my packaging    
work and I hope other users would like to help it too.  
   
Egon: The search is implemented and is quite powerful (the unique things that's 
needed is a button for it in the main toolbar) : Edit -> Find.
