[ Impact ]
In gfs2, the log daemon function gfs2_logd() calls the log flushing functions
gfs2_ail1_start(), gfs2_ail1_wait(), and gfs2_ail1_empty() without holding
sdp->sd_log_flush_lock. These functions require exclusion against concurrent
transactions, so calling them without the lock can lead to race conditions and
filesystem corruption. This missing locking can result in data integrity issues
on gfs2 filesystems.
[ Fix ]
questing: clean cherry-pick
[ Test Plan ]
Boot tested.
[ Where Problems Could Occur ]
A regression in this fix could introduce lock contention or deadlocks in the
gfs2 logging path, potentially affecting the performance or stability of gfs2
filesystems under heavy transaction load.
