Agreed, and part of helping with that is cleaning out old unused
and confusing cruft. Yes, some of it is currently only cosmetic but
there's also real danger if this interferes with some real packaging
changes that we might need in the future.

From the looks of it it's just another derivative but using a special
versioning scheme.

Ok. I'll send a v2 with just a the changes to clean out the empty packages.
FWIW, these changes are all in Oracular. So maybe I should sell this as a
backport ;-)
