Hi Ubuntu kernel team,

please, could you consider to backport in the 6.5 kernel (22.04-hwe) the linux
upstream commit ec4ffd100ffb ("Revert "net: rtnetlink: Enslave device before
bringing it up"").:

It is included in v6.1.75, v6.6.14, v6.7.2, but there is no 6.5 upstream stable
kernel.

For my information, is there a plan to switch the 22.04 hwe kernel to the 6.8
kernel from 24.04?
