6.8.0 not tagged within cod/mainline

Dear Kernel Team,

Looking at
https://git.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-kernel-test/ubuntu/+source/linux/+git/mainline-crack/refs/,
a detection was made on Sunday that Linus Torvalds tagged v6.8, but
unlike usually, cod/mainline/v6.8 didn't follow and, hence, assuming
some automation, build for it haven't been done and pushed to
https://kernel.ubuntu.com/mainline.

Now, as for the latter link, there happened to be some confusion when
you went about restructuring that, leading to questions from, amongst
others, myself, which Jürg Häfliger (Cc:) was kin enough to answer
(eventually), but with this in recent memory, and builds not
materialising for 6.8.0, please allow the following comments:

 1. Assuming some automation, are detection of failures of the pipeline
    stages dependent on manual inspection?
 2. If so, then why?
 3. If the pipeline actually notifies a set of people of failures, and
none have, so far, communicated broadly, should that set be expanded?
     1. I, for one, would very much like to, if not be on the
notification list, then at least to be able to know what's up
 4. Is there anything I can do to help avoid delays such as this going
    forward?

Best regards,

Sune Mølgaard
