Errors when loading nvidia drm with 6.8.0-50 (and 51)

Hello,

I have recently noticed that something seems to be wrong with recent 6.8.0
kernels when initializing the NVIDIA proprietary driver (with both 535 and
550 releases).

Even if, on the surface, everything looks OK, when looking at the logs I
can spot some weird errors which are not occurring when rolling back to
6.8.0-49. Furthermore (and this is how I detected those errors), the
CustomEDID option that I have added to properly handle the bad EDID that my
monitors sends seems now to be ignored... but the loading errors are also
present if no custom edid option is passed.

I have attached a few logs for your reference, What I can see is that the
/sys folder structure seems to have changed, and there some references to
paths which are probed (seems to be related to fhis commit [1])

Looking at the diff between both releases on
https://git.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-kernel/ubuntu/+source/linux/+git/noble/ I
was not really able to pinpoint the commit that triggered the whole
issue... but I am happy to help making some more tests/debugging if needed.
