This patch causes a build error due to bionic not having the debug function
'bphy_err'. There is a backported patch (b23665bbd39224e) on 4.14.y stable
tree that uses the available `brcmf_err`. I can resend the patch on Tuesday
when I'm back if no one else gets around to it.
