I don't have a good feel for how popular these boards are, but
increasing the image size (though it may not be a very big size change)
impacts stable releases. You risk pushing one of Stefan's hot buttons.
I will watch for this change in the cloud kernels assigned to me. It may
be a moot point since the infrastructure for this feature may not even
be enabled for arm64.
