Hi Paolo,
Sorry for the delay. I disabled UBSAN for all my builds as it's just not sustainable to hunt for issues in hundreds of possible modules and HW configurations.
Having that said, I can certainly test your patch and it would be easier for me if you can provide the link (or a patch file) to it so I can rebuild the kernel for my environment and re-test.

your issue looks very similar to LP1942215[1]: can you install the test kernel
provided in #12 and follow up with your results there?
