Hi Stefan:

This patch will not be used in 5.12+ kernel, there is a fix to make backlight work without ID quirk in 5.12 kernel.
But it is still a must for 5.11 kernel.

I had reminded upstream maintainer twice, and got "Acked" from one maintainer too.
But it's still not applied.

For risk concern, it added ID and should be safe for other panels.

Could it be as SAUCE in hirsute?
