question about one of your ubuntu patch

Hi Juerg,
We have quite a backlog and keeping kernels up to date is time consuming so
it
just took us a while to pull the commits into Bionic.
I think if commits are chosen, porting them should be easy. Can you give me
more details on why
it's time consuming?
