As bug description.

The requested patchset is not in upstream but it's very close to be
accepted. The patch set applies cleanly to Eoan and Focal but for
Xenial it required additional back port. I also dropped some patches
that only contained documentation for xenial to avoid further and
unnecessary back ports.

Microsoft has tested and validated test kernels for all series.
