Updating configs has become a bit complicated. Tl;dr, you need to make
sure you are using the same compiler version and architecture which will
be used when building the kernel. This is why we now have an
updateconfigs command for cranky which uses a chroot for updating
configs.

Anyway, I went ahead and amended your patch for disco after running
updateconfigs, and pushed the result. Thanks!
