No, I just failed to notice that the code was moved instead of removed :( Thanks for catching that.
I've added that patch and rebased the branches to include it in the right spot.
The branches in the pull-request (update-to-4.4.183, update-to-4.4.184, and update-to-4.4.185) have all been updated now to the following SHAs:
