Hey Ubunkernel folks,
(and in particular Andy and Sultan who know WireGuard development well),
WireGuard landed in DaveM's net-next tree this morning [1][2][3][4],
which means it's slated to be included in 5.6. At the same time, I
understand that Ubuntu 20.04 will ship with 5.4 or 5.5, if I'm not
mistaken.
>From brief IRC discussions, I'm under the impression there's _maybe_
some interest to have WireGuard properly in Ubuntu's kernel for 20.04.
I'm happy to do the work to help make this happen.
I'm also willing and able to backport this to any other Ubuntu kernels
that you think would be relevant.
If this sounds appealing, would you send me a list of git repos you'd
like WireGuard backported to, and I'll send a patch for each one?
Thanks,
Jason
