Thanks for confirming! I guess I'm interpreting the dates in 'A new
SRU cycle started' announces incorrectly...

The 'last day for commits' is for patches/commits to be sent to the
mailing list or to be applied to git trees?
I guess my confusion is whether to interpret what is sent as
_patches_, and what is applied in git as _commits_.
