This fix is already in yakkety master-next branch as part of upstream
stable kernel release 4.8.16 (applied earlier today).
I guess you're probably aware of the use of the 'kernel-bug-break-fix'?
In a nutshell, to have the bug automatically 'fix released' you just set
the bug to 'fix committed' and use this tag. Finally, you add a
'break-fix: <break-sha1> <fix-sha1>' at the end of the bug description.
In this case, something like:
break-fix: - 37be66767e3cae4fd16e064d8bb7f9f72bf5c045
(The '-' means you don't know/care about the commit that introduced the
bug.)
