Kernel security patch release for Ubuntu V. 16.10

Hello dear Kernel Team,

as far as I can see there is a kernel patch available for different
kernel versions, for example for 4.8.xx.
Because of security reasons it is recommended to patch very soon.
Why this patch is not distributed by the daily Ubuntu update meanwhile
if there is a real security risk?
When this patch will be distributed by the update?
My kernel version is 4.8.0-26-generic until now and my OS is Ubuntu
version 16.10.
