== Xenial SRU Justification ==
HDMI audio playback noise observed on AMD Polaris 10/11 GPU. This patch fixes
garbled audio on Polaris-10/11 variants.
The patch was sent to stable. This SRU request is to have the patch in Xenial until
it comes down from upstream stable.

A test kernel was built with this patch and tested by the original bug reporter.
The bug reporter states the test kernel resolved the bug.
