After reading the thread on
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/open-iscsi/0S5fEM_Aafk it seems
that the iSCSI maintainer's intention was to revert this patch (see
email 11/11/15), so that seems to indicate the direction that upstream
is currently taking.
