WLAN problems

Dear Kernel-Team,
admiring your difficult work I would like to urge you to cure the connection problems when using WLAN in 16.04 and 16.04.1, independenlly whether working on i386 (Dell Latitude D630) or on average amd64 architecture. These problems are really a nuisance for average users:

The situation is even getting worse with new updates and should merit high priority, as well for the actual version of Xenial LTS as for the coming Yakkety.
Probably you already know very well about this, but nevertheless the voice of an normal user may make sense.
