I had the 1st of these 2 patches already queued for the 3.16.y-ckt
stable kernel, and David Vrabel replied asking to drop it because it
was broken.  Since we now have the fix, I am queuing both patches to
3.16.

Kamal, please also consider these 2 patches for the 3.13.
