[PULL][Vivid SRU] urgent i915_bpo fixes

  So these two are unfortunately going to need a respin of the current
vivid kernel (and lts-vivid). The first patch fixes corrupt gfx after
resume from suspend caused by a newer BIOS, and the other fixes a
failure to drive the panel properly on boot on a certain machine being
certified. The first bug will be fixed in Wily too later, the second is
i915_bpo specific at this point and the reverted commit has been dropped
upstream so won't get backported to Wily.
