Right, well this has been tested on new OEM systems that are on the
pipeline for last 2-3 weeks, they include at least Haswell-based systems
that use the stock i915 driver. I'm not sure if others only use blobs
though, but I'd assume at least the install phase uses the kernel drivers.
I've verified Haswell and some fairly new radeon myself, both are happy.
