3.18-rc2 compressed modules

Joe - I thinking asking folks to try the mainline 3.18 builds produced
false negatives until late yesterday (Oct 28). I turned off compressed
modules which seems to have alleviated most of the boot issues that
folks were seeing. I think you should go back through all of those bugs
and ask people to try again.
