[3.16.y-ckt extended stable] Patch "drm/i915: Ignore VBT backlight check on Macbook 2, 1" has been added to staging queue

This is a note to let you know that I have just added a patch titled

    drm/i915: Ignore VBT backlight check on Macbook 2, 1

to the linux-3.16.y-queue branch of the 3.16.y-ckt extended stable tree 
which can be found at:

This patch is scheduled to be released in version 3.16.7-ckt1.

    drm/i915: do not setup backlight if not available according to VBT

prevents backlight setup on Macbook 2,1. Apply quirk to ignore the VBT
check so backlight is set up properly.
