BugLink: http://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1319457

== Trusty SRU Justification ==
Several people have reported that when their USB headset is plugged in they get tens of messages in syslog related to retire_playback_urb. There is a patch in mainline to fix this issue and rate limit the messages: b7a77235. However, this patch was not cc'd to stable. It also required a backport to apply to Trusty.

== Fix ==
commit b7a7723513dc89f83d6df13206df55d4dc26e825
Author: Sander Eikelenboom <linux at eikelenboom.it>

    ALSA: usb-audio: Prevent printk ratelimiting from spamming kernel log while DEBUG not defined

== Test Case ==
A test kernel was built with a backport of this patch and tested by the original bug reporter. The bug reporter states the test kernel resolved the bug.
