Yeah - we currently don't have any PCI support for arm64 in utopic :)
And that's actually a discussion I wanted to bring up.

When we enabled PCI for ARM64 in trusty, we went with this
vendor-specific stack because there really wasn't another option at
the time. Liviu Dudau has since been iterating on a generic arm64
patch series, but it has taken a lot of review cycles - mostly (imo)
due to the preliminary architecture cleanup he was asked to do. I've
included his series in my hyperscale PPA for testing and have had good
results. I hope to eventually get this series merged into utopic so
that we can support additional ARM64 server platforms.

My plan A has been to propose merging Liviu's changes once they hit
-next, and hopefully that happens soon. But if it doesn't, at some
point we'll need to make a call on whether to merge them early or
bring back the vendor-specific stack temporarily to avoid regressions.
What's your guidance for how long I should wait before sending a plan
B pull request?
