(i.e., Ubuntu running on top of OPAL, without KVM), from mainline:

	1/3 trivial backport (removed 2 missing preprocessor #defines, not used)
	2/3 clean cherry pick
	3/3 trivial backport (removed pseries_defconfig options for transparent hugepages, not available)
